I am not afraid to fail, and fortunately, I do it fairly often. I believe that students, no matter what age, cannot only love school but learn to make an impact in their world. I don’t fit the mold of a traditional teacher. I like to be by myself more often than with others. I don’t own any ugly sweaters. (At least in my opinion.) Nevertheless, I am a tech integrator and makerspace coordinator for a K-6 school in Nashville, TN. I am passionate about technology, design thinking, and developing authentic learning experiences for my students. However; I am even more enamored with helping my students navigate the 21st-century world they live within and how to be the positive, good-natured, visionary, agents of change in this chaotic world.
